"Clear, bright, opaque ruby. Nose of black raspberry, violets, crushed rock, black cherry candy, hint of mint leaf, cherry cola, and mentholyptus. Delicious, integrated, complex palate of black cherry and minerals with smooth tannins and a sweet fruity finish. Silky smooth and very refined. This showed complex fruit structure with layers of current and blackberry mixed with wood and spices. Long and lingering finish."

Winemaker's Notes:

“This label artwork is derived from a silk-embroidered 18th century Perisan satin sari. In the epic Book of Kings, by Persian poet Firdausi, the Bird of Paradise was also symbolized by the Zoroastrian Simurgh, a benevolent mythical creature that represented the divine union between earth and sky. The Simurgh would roost in the Tree of Life and, when taking flight, shake fertile seeds into the wind and rain, spreading life to all the worlds’ plants and wellness to mankind.”
