“This is the first-ever Archive Grenache, produced from young vines at Frediani near Calistoga and Paras on Mt. Veeder. It is undeniably 100% unadulterated Grenache! Light garnet in color with a nose chock full of strawberry, lavender, white flowers, grilled herbs and a touch of vanilla. The palate is deceptively rich and full, defying the light color, in an ode to the sandy soil Grenache grown in Chateauneuf-du-Pape. The soft, fruity finish is carried by the round mouthfeel and ripe tannins which keep the frame in focus. 75 cases produced from two demi-johns.”
