"Kopke Port is the oldest port house. Established in 1638 by Christiano Kopke and his son, Nicolau Kopke who came to Portugal as representatives of the Hanseatic League, the House of Kopke is the eldest Porto wine export firm. Lively amber colour. Aroma of great impact, with dried fruits and liqueur. Wonderful balance, good structure and softness. The freshness seduces and involves the senses. Elegant and endless finish." - Winemaker

Our Price: $325.00

Review: Tom Cannavan (Wine.pages.com) 2015

"Lovely dark caramel colour, with some truffle and tea notes, edges of olive and green fruits (fig). The maturity on the palate is obvious, again with fabulous sweetness and brown sugar richness, Muscovado and walnuts, but the hallmark of the fresh orange and lemon acidity plays against that and the coffee and walnut cake sweetness and richness."
