"Deep, dark, not quite opaque ruby-red that stays ruby to the rim. The aromas are tight with dusty cedar character, hints of mushroom development & dark plum fruit. The wine is medium to full bodied & the texture has a milky smoothness leading to silky tannins. The fruit combines soft rich mulberry & damson fruit with notes of earth, truffle & mushroom. Alcohol and acidity are balanced & the finish lasts well."
